Your 3G mobile will work on both the new Vodafone 3G network and the original Vodafone 2G network. If you move out of 3G coverage it will switch seamlessly to the 2G network, so you can continue to talk, text and access 2G mobile Internet speeds.

The Vodafone 3G network covers major cities and holiday destinations, including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and around 20 metropolitan town centres. This will continue to expand over time. Remember, your phone screen will display a 3G icon whenever you're in 3G coverage.
